15 Stars Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon represents the art of secondary maturation at its finest. This unique expression begins as exceptional Kentucky bourbon, then undergoes an additional finishing period in hand-selected Spanish sherry casks, adding layers of dried fruit and nutty complexity.

PRODUCTION:

Starting with premium Kentucky straight bourbon, this whiskey is transferred to imported Spanish sherry casks for an extended finishing period. The sherry influence imparts distinctive notes of dried fruit and nuts while the original bourbon character of caramel and oak remains beautifully intact.

TASTING NOTES:

  • Nose: Dried fig, raisin, toasted almond, vanilla, and subtle sherry sweetness
  • Palate: Rich butterscotch, dried apricot, walnut, dark chocolate, and warm spices
  • Finish: Luxuriously long with sherry-influenced sweetness and lingering oak
