The 1848 2nd Generation Cabernet-Merlot is a beautifully crafted kosher dry red wine from one of Israel's most respected wineries. Founded in 2006 by eighth-generation vintner Yossi Shor, 1848 Winery honors Israel's winemaking heritage dating back to 1848 with modern expertise.

WINEMAKING:

Sourced from premium vineyards in the Galilee and Judean Hills, this elegant blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon's structure with Merlot's softness. Crafted under the guidance of Israeli-trained winemaker Ilan Assouline, the wine reflects both varietal character and Israeli terroir.

TASTING NOTES:

  • Nose: Dark berries, black currant, and subtle oak spice
  • Palate: Medium-bodied with ripe plum, cherry, and integrated tannins
  • Finish: Smooth and balanced with lingering fruit

HOW TO ENJOY:
