The 1848 5th Generation Orient is a signature kosher dry red blend from Israel's esteemed 1848 Winery. This premium wine represents the pinnacle of Israeli winemaking, combining multiple varietals to create a complex, age-worthy red with distinctive character.
WINEMAKING:
This flagship blend draws from 1848's finest Galilee and Judean Hills vineyard sites. Each varietal is vinified separately and aged in Israeli oak before being artfully blended by winemaker Ilan Assouline to achieve harmony and depth.
TASTING NOTES:
- Nose: Dark plum, cassis, Mediterranean herbs, and toasted oak
- Palate: Full-bodied with layers of black fruit, chocolate, and spice
