Alexander The Great Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Alexander Winery, a boutique Israeli producer founded in 1996 by Yoram Shalom in the Hefer Valley. The grapes are drawn from select high-elevation vineyards in Galilee, including fruit grown roughly 870 meters up at Ben Zimra, and blended with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc before 36 months aging split between French and American oak. Expect deep cassis, plum, and cedar layered over firm, food-friendly tannins — pour it alongside grilled lamb or a well-marbled steak.
