Amatiteña Blanco comes from Amatitán, Jalisco — the village credited with Mexico's earliest agave-distilling history — where fifth-generation maestro tequilero Alberto Partida cooks hand-cut Blue Weber agave in a mesquite-fired stone oven, crushes it with a traditional tahona, and ferments it in open wood tanks with wild yeast before running it through 19th-century copper pot stills. The result is a 42% ABV blanco with a smoky, mineral-driven profile — mesquite, black pepper, and marjoram giving way to vanilla and salinity. Try it neat to catch the layers, or in a simple margarita.
