French Selection presents Arnaud Baillot's Beaune Premier Cru Teurons, a Pinot Noir from the Les Teurons climat on Burgundy's Côte de Beaune. Grower-producer Arnaud Baillot farms organically from a small parcel near the Bouzaise stream, fermenting part of the harvest as whole clusters and aging the wine across oak cask and ceramic amphora-style vessels. Expect a stony, mineral-edged nose of red berry and rose petal, with soft, textured tannins and a peppery finish. Pour with roasted duck, mushroom risotto, or aged Comté.
