French Selection presents Arnaud Baillot's Monthélie Les Crays, a Pinot Noir from Monthélie — a small Côte de Beaune village tucked between Volnay and Meursault in Burgundy. Baillot, a young Beaune-based winemaker who farms under lutte raisonnée (integrated, low-intervention viticulture), sources fruit from the Les Crays vineyard and ages it in carefully selected barrels for a red that's elegant, silky, and bright with red-berry character. Pour it alongside roast duck, mushroom risotto, or a simple coq au vin.
