Barkan Superieur Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from Israel's Upper Galilee, sourced from four hand-selected vineyard plots. Barkan Winery, Israel's second-largest producer, ferments the grapes warm with extended skin contact for deep color and concentration, then ages the wine in small French oak barrels for 21 months, tasting regularly to select the best barrels for the blend. Expect dark garnet color, black cherry and oregano aromatics, and a layered palate of cassis, mint, and coffee over soft tannins. Serve around 61°F alongside grilled lamb or aged hard cheese.
