French Selection's Baron De Mamour Pinot Noir is a dry red from France's Loire Valley, produced by the Villebois family estate best known for Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. The grapes get a cold-soak maceration before a week-long fermentation, then age mostly in stainless steel with just a touch of barrel time, giving a garnet-hued wine with bright cherry and raspberry aromas and a silky texture that finishes on crunchy red fruit. It's easy-drinking enough for a casual gathering — pour it alongside grilled meats, BBQ, or a wedge of Brie or Camembert.
