Barrell Bourbon Gray Label 15 Year is a cask-strength blend from Barrell Craft Spirits, marrying straight bourbons distilled and aged across Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Wyoming before being married and bottled in Kentucky. The blend draws on hand-selected barrels roughly 13 to 19 years old, built through a labor-intensive marrying process using air-dried staves. Expect a nose of vanilla bean and dark brown sugar, a palate balancing oatmeal-cookie sweetness with black peppercorn and oak tannins, and a finish of cocoa and grapefruit bitterness fading into cornbread. Pour it neat in a Glencairn to let the barrel character unfold.
