JC JENKINS ARRIVED IN PETERSBURG, KENTUCKY, in 1833 from Virginia looking for opportunity in America's new west. What he found a few steps from the banks of the Ohio River was the intoxicating taste of prosperity. JC Jenkins who resided in his bucolic "Prospect Farm" hilltop home was influential to the growing town of Petersburg as a community leader, business visionary, and an active member of the Underground Railroad. We bottle this to honor our history and the hard working Petersburg locals. We honor their industry and determination with each bottle of our small batch straight rye whiskey. In the spirit of those who came before us, we are "Made By Ghosts".
