Carmel Winery's Selected Cabernet Sauvignon draws its fruit from Israel's Galilee region, where the winery — founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild — has grown grapes for over a century. Part of Carmel's Selected series, launched in 1979 and still Israel's top-selling wine line, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is made in an approachable, fruit-forward style: soft tannins carry notes of black cherry, cassis, and blackcurrant with a touch of spice. Pour it alongside roasted chicken, pasta with red sauce, or a cheese board.
