Château Lagrange Saint-Julien 2022 is the grand vin of Château Lagrange, a Third Classified Growth (1855) estate in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux's Médoc. The 2022 vintage leans on a record-high share of Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Merlot and Petit Verdot, drawn from the estate's oldest vines and aged roughly 21 months in barrels (about half new oak). Expect blackcurrant and morello cherry depth with a touch of liquorice and pear from the Petit Verdot, backed by dense, velvety tannins. Pour it alongside braised short ribs or aged hard cheeses, and let it rest a few years to unfold further.
