Château Mayne Guyon Dry Red is a Bordeaux blend from the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, grown on limestone hillsides across the Gironde estuary from Médoc. French Selection sources this cuvée from a 30-hectare estate built in 1995, blending roughly 80% Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, fermented in stainless steel and finished in oak. Expect cassis, dark cherry, cedar, and a touch of tilled earth, with soft tannins carrying into a smooth finish. Pour it alongside grilled steak, roasted lamb, or a wedge of aged cheddar.
