Glen Garioch's distillery sits furthest east of any in Scotland, tucked into the old market town of Oldmeldrum near Aberdeen, making whisky since 1797. This 12 Year Old rests in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks, then goes into the bottle non-chill filtered at 48% ABV, so nothing gets stripped out. Expect heathery, floral notes, poached pear, and malted barley sweetness with a creamy, lightly oaked finish. Pour it neat and let it open up slowly.
