Glencadam 15 Year Old, presented in a gift tube, is an East Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Glencadam distillery in Brechin, Angus — distilling there since 1825. It's matured entirely in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then bottled non-chill filtered and natural colour. Expect orchard fruit and vanilla on the nose, a creamy palate of sugared almond and dried apple with a touch of nutmeg, and a long, gently spiced, rice-pudding finish. Pour neat or with a splash of water to open the fruit further.
