Gothic Gin's recipe was born on founder Chris Klug's 2017 trip to Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, where he refined this contemporary-style gin over months of testing. Seven hand-picked botanicals go into the still — Italian juniper, Valencia orange peel, Moroccan orris root, and Indonesian black Lampong peppercorns among them — building a fragrant bouquet with a relaxed, subtle finish. Bottled at 90 proof in San Francisco, it took Gold at the World Gin Awards and later Best Contemporary Gin in the US. Pour over ice with tonic and a twist.
