Hagafen Syrah Dry Red Wine comes from Hagafen Cellars, a Napa Valley estate on the Silverado Trail founded in 1979 by Ernie and Irit Weir. Fruit is drawn from the Wieruszowski Vineyard in Coombsville, a cooler Napa pocket that extends ripening and preserves acidity in Syrah. Expect a dry, full-bodied red with dark fruit, cracked pepper, and savory notes of tobacco and cedar, backed by firm tannins. Pour it alongside grilled meats or aged cheese, where its structure and spice have something to push against.
