Herzog Pinion is a dry white field blend from Herzog Winery, crafted at the family's Oxnard, California winery using fruit sourced from their Clarksburg vineyard in the Sacramento River Delta. Rather than a single varietal, Pinion draws on multiple white grapes grown together and vinified as one wine, a field-blend approach the Herzog family also uses on its red Lineage bottlings. Expect a crisp, food-friendly white with bright acidity typical of Clarksburg's cool river-delta fruit. Pour it chilled alongside roast chicken, flaky white fish, or a simple herbed pasta.
