Herzog Saignée Rosé is a dry Napa Valley rosé from Herzog Winery Special, made using the saignée method—bleeding juice off red-wine grapes picked at peak, elevated ripeness on the estate's mountain and Reserve blocks. Part of the batch is barrel fermented, a step that builds the wine's deep color and fuller mouth-feel compared to typical rosés. Expect a layered mix of stone fruit, strawberry, and floral notes leading into a long finish, with structure reminiscent of Napa Cabernet but none of the tannin. Pour it chilled alongside grilled salmon, charcuterie, or a summer salad.
