R. Jelinek Kirsch is a clear cherry brandy (kirschwasser-style) from Rudolf Jelínek, a fruit-spirits distillery founded in 1894 in Vizovice, Czech Republic. Ripe cherries are mashed and fermented whole — pits included — then run through a three-stage distillation before resting at least a year in stainless steel, which rounds out the spirit without adding oak character. Expect bright, true cherry aroma with a subtle almond-like edge from the stones and a clean, dry finish. Serve well-chilled as a digestif, or use it to build a classic Black Forest-style dessert cocktail.
