French Selection's Koenig Gewürztraminer comes from the Koenig winery in Dambach-la-Ville, Alsace, on the eastern slopes of the Vosges mountains — a family estate producing wine since 1960 with a low-yield approach built around terroir. The Gewürztraminer grapes are crushed, pressed, clarified, and fermented at controlled temperatures before aging in stainless steel, preserving the variety's signature aromatics. Expect a bright straw-gold glass with rose petal, lychee, and peach on the nose, backed by bright acidity and fruit-forward character. Pour it as an aperitif or alongside spicy dishes, lamb tajine, or aged cheese.
