French Selection's Le Comte De Malartic is a Bordeaux red blend from Pessac-Léognan, the second wine of the Graves estate Château Malartic-Lagravière. The blend leans heavily on Merlot alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, hand-harvested and double-sorted before fermenting in temperature-controlled stainless steel and oak vats, then aged in French oak. Expect silky black fruit, cassis, smoky tobacco, and a touch of spice, backed by fresh acidity and fine, savory tannins. Pour it alongside grilled steak, roasted lamb, or aged cheese.
