Le G de Château Guiraud is the dry white Bordeaux Blanc Sec from Château Guiraud, the Premier Cru Classé Sauternes estate in Bordeaux, France, better known for its legendary sweet dessert wines. This white blends Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon in roughly equal parts, aged on the lees for six months, half in stainless steel and half in barrels previously used for the estate's Sauternes Premier Cru, lending subtle roundness without dulling the Sauvignon's edge. Expect citrus, white blossom, and stone-fruit aromatics with a fresh, lively finish. Pour it chilled alongside oysters, grilled shellfish, or roast chicken.
