French Selection presents Les Roches de Yon, a dry red Bordeaux blend from Saint-Émilion — the second wine of Château Yon-Figeac, an estate on clay-and-sand terroir just outside the village. Built from Merlot with Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot, hand-harvested and aged partly in new oak barrels, it pours a deep ruby with aromas of ripe blackberry and cherry, a soft cocoa edge, and velvety, well-integrated tannins. Pour it alongside roasted lamb, mushroom risotto, or aged cheese for a classic St. Emilion pairing.
