Pescaja Klaris is a dry white Chardonnay from Piemonte, Italy, crafted by the small Pescaja estate in Cisterna d'Asti. The winery works vineyards in the Asti hills, an area better known for Barbera and Arneis, giving this Chardonnay a distinct Piedmontese accent. Expect an aromatic glass of grapefruit, pineapple, and peach over fresh blossom notes, with a soft, clean palate that finishes on a light almond note. Pour it chilled alongside grilled chicken, light fish, or a cheese-and-fruit board for an easy, food-friendly white.
