Psagot Prat is a fortified sweet red wine from Psagot Winery in Israel's Judean Hills, blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Sirah across multiple vintages. Fermentation is stopped early with a wine-alcohol addition, port-style, locking in natural grape sweetness before 16 months in French oak. The result pours deep purple with a nose of dark fruit and rose petal, unfolding into blackberry, plum, cranberry, coffee, and chocolate, framed by velvety, oak-softened tannins. Serve slightly cool alongside dark chocolate desserts or a strong espresso.
