From there it enters the Sistema Solera, aging 6-to-23-year-old rums together through bourbon, sherry, and Pedro Ximénez barrels, high in the cool Guatemalan highlands where evaporation slows way down. The result leans toward caramel, toasted hazelnut, and dried fruit, rounding into oak, leather, and a cinnamon-ginger finish. Sip it neat or over one big rock. Comes as ten 50ml bottles — good for sampling before committing to a full bottle.
