If you love a sherry-forward Scotch, GlenDronach 18 "Allardice" is a deep dive. Named for distillery founder James Allardice, this Highland single malt spends its full 18 years in Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucia, Spain. Expect a rich nose of fudge, dark muscovado sugar and morello cherries, then a palate of stewed fruits, allspice, toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange, closing long with dark treacle.
