Tomintoul Peaty is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Tomintoul distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Unusual for the region, Tomintoul normally distills unpeated whisky, but this expression is made from peated malted barley, then matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. The result balances gentle campfire smoke with Tomintoul's signature sweetness — expect vanilla, honey, and orchard fruit alongside malt and a smoky, lingering finish. Pour it neat or over one large ice cube to let the smoke unfold slowly, or pair it with grilled meats or aged cheddar.
