Tulip Espero Red is a dry red blend from Tulip Winery in Israel's Galilee, combining Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grown at two distinct sites — Syrah from Kfar Yuval's basalt and terra rosa soils, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the higher-elevation Mata vineyard. Each variety ferments and ages separately in oak for six months before blending and resting another six. Expect lavender, violet, and dark fruit aromas leading into cherry, herb, and warm spice on the palate, finishing long and spicy. Pour it alongside grilled lamb or a hard cheese board.
