Tura Winery's Mountain Vista Heartland is a dry red blend from the Mountain Heights of Samaria, Israel, where the estate's vineyards sit 850 meters up on rocky terra rossa soil. Winemakers Vered and Erez Ben-Sa'adon blend several red varieties and age the wine roughly 10-12 months in French oak, giving it a deep color, dark and red fruit character, and a round, balanced structure with gentle oak spice. Versatile at the table, it holds its own with grilled meats yet stays easy alongside lighter fare — pour it in a standard red wine glass with dinner.
