Named for the 28 islands of the Detroit River, where Prohibition-era bootleggers once stashed their hooch, this vodka comes from Two James in Corktown, the first licensed distillery in Detroit since Prohibition. It's built from a mash of 70% corn and 30% organic winter wheat, run through a copper pot still, landing buttery and balanced at 82 proof with hints of vanilla and gentle spice. That touch of sweetness makes it easy in a martini or stirred into your favorite cocktail.
